I first came to Treadfit because my daughter, who was visiting from Philadelphia, found a free pass on the Mindbody App. I only went to maximize time spent with her. At that point in time, I was very out of shape and very overweight, and the thought of going to an exercise class was intimidating. But I was hooked from the very first class. The environment was inclusive and I was able to exercise at a pace that felt right to me. My daughter went home to Philadelphia, but I kept going to Treadfit classes. It was hard to be consistent at first, but I told myself to just show up, and I’m never sorry that I do. I love the pacing of the class – I am never bored or overwhelmed and I appreciate the variety of moves. The exercise had been great for my brain and body. I love how I feel stronger and more confident with every class. And after a while, the exercise routine paved the way for healthier eating, and I have now lost 35 pounds. I’m truly grateful that I discovered Treadfit. It has allowed me to transform into a happier and healthier person.
